I got this for my Daughter for Christmas and she loves it. It does everything it says it will do! Now we ran out of ink only to find out that refills are not available now and no one is sure when they will be. Has anyone tried refilling the ink in the cartridge?????

I finally got mine to work but even when I adjust the color it still comes out a redish color and you can't even tell what the object is sometimes. Any suggestions??

My daughter received this from Santa. We tried it out tonight, WOW was I glad that I had read the reviews & trouble shooting tips! Following the book & the note about selecting the "nail printer" in the printer set up, I was successful. Placing the nail in the printer is tricky, but with time we got the hang of it. She loves the doll'd up nail printer.

Mark,
Thank you so much for your detailed experience. I know a lot of readers will appreciate it. I agree it is a very cool idea but sounds like they rolled it out without working out a few bugs first. I am glad it is working now and most of all your daughter LOVES IT. I bet you are the best dad ever! :) Thanks for visiting and hope you visit again soon.

Today is my daughter's birthday (9) and I picked up this printer last week. Before I gave it to her this evening I took the time to load the software and give it a test run. Thank goodness I did. It took nearly five hours to get it right. I was on with the tech support for nearly half that time. Based in the USA yeah!!! The issue is mainly Windows Vista. Don't let the system auto load. Open disc by right clicking the Barbie icon and select EXPLORE. Then right click the .exe file and run as Administrator.

The issue you wrote about putting your finger below the nail grid IS a flaw in the design. After an hour or so I did manage to manually correct it by tweaking the camera settings.

The machine is VERY COOL but does seem to have extra steps that could be eliminated. But you know what, my daughter loves it. If my daughter likes it then I like it. What makes her happy makes me happy.

Sorry for any misspelled words. Typing with one finger on a phone and don't feel like editing.
